I have been working in robotics for more than 5 years now and have touched almost everything from rovers to autonomous cars to now robotic arms and humanoids! I am interested in building intelligent systems that can co-exist and meaningfully collaborate with humans.

Currently, I am doing my Masters from Carnegie Mellon University in Robotics, collaborating with Prof. Laszlo Jeni and Prof. Max Simchowitz, and we're working on flow-based VLA policies for dexterous manipulation and learning skills from human videos.

Before this, I spent two beautiful years in Japan soul-searching and working with Honda's RnD lab in Tokyo on vision perception and Visual SLAM pipelines for AVs in unstructured environments. For many such projects, I had the luck of collaborating with Prof. Ayoung Kim (Seoul National University) and Prof. Abhinav Valada (University of Freiburg).

I've also worked with research labs across academia and industry, including Adobe Research (resulting in a US patent), and collaborators at NTU's Sentic Lab with Prof. Erik Cambria on projects spanning AI, cognition, and healthcare.

I did my undergrad from IIT Bombay in Computer Science & Engineering and was advised by Prof. Abir De and Prof. Sunoj Raghavan.

Alongside research, I spent a ridiculous amount of nights in the labs of the Mars Rover Team. Some of this resulted in recognition from international rover competitions but mostly equipped me with the ability to pull insane all-nighters. For all the research, I love seeing things actually work, which is probably why hardware keeps pulling me back.

Eventually, I would love to start my own company. My first shot at it was FeMeal, a venture that helped women combat PCOS and rallied serious community support. The startup bug hasn't left since.

I write stores, sometimes relatable, sometimes useful, but mostly stories that touch my heart with the hope to touch yours. I also have a hobby to collect books and sometime I tend to read from my collection :) I love to (solo) travel as well.

You could find people I am connected to here. And, I keep my DMs open for curious conversations, good collaborations and building ideas!
